🌴 Passion Roots is the kind of hidden gem, off Tamiami Trail, that you're excited to find when searching for something healthy and delicious, and a fabulous locally roasted coffee spot too. The moment I stepped inside, it felt like a tropical oasis with the coziness of a neighborhood café. I met Jamie (the owner), her wonderful staff, and a sweet mom and her little girl who were so full of joy. I felt so welcomed in this warm, stay‑awhile community vibe. The wicker lights, palm trees, vibrant plants, and light‑and‑breezy style make the café feel like a little island escape. There are so many healthy options to choose from, and I ordered the Island Matcha and smashed avocado toast with microgreens and a lemon wedge. The refreshing coconut water, dash of agave, and earthy green tea, created a perfectedly blended iced matcha, which paired perfectly with the hearty multi‑grain toast and fresh avocado. Next time, I’m excited to try a latte or espresso from their La Marzocco Italian coffee machine. I'm thrilled to find this local, family‑owned healthy café in the neighborhood. THE BEST!!🤩🤩 My friend and I are visiting from Massachusetts and were looking for somewhere to get a smoothie bowl, somewhere that was healthy high quality food. We are SO happy we came across Passion Roots! Not only was the food absolutely delicious but the service was amazing as well. The very sweet staff gave us ideas of places in the area to visit on our trip and were so welcoming and kind! We got the Pura Vida Bowl and Garden Pesto Toast and were blown away at the taste. The perfect amount of savory and sweet, great for an afternoon pick me up. Also the drinks…. My banana bread latte was STUNNING, the perfect balance of banana and cinnamon. Also the matcha was the perfect color and everything you’d want when ordering a matcha - perfect ratio. Thank you again and can’t wait to come back ASAP

This is one of my favorite spots in Sarasota! Such a hidden gem in South Sarasota near the Gulf Gate area! Amazing açaí bowls, matcha, and NOW COFFEE!!! If you haven't given it a shot... now's your chance! The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful and so kind! They truly have poured their heart and souls into this business!

I recently visited Passion Roots in Sarasota, FL, with my friends over spring break. It was such a refreshing experience compared to a lot of typical spots. The overall vibe is very clean, modern, and aesthetic, but still feels relaxed and welcoming. It’s definitely the kind of place you could go for a casual breakfast, lunch, or even just to hang out and get work done. I ordered their tropical paradise smoothie and avocado toast, and both were really good. Everything tasted super fresh, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The presentation also stood out; everything looked very intentional and well put together, which made the experience feel a little more elevated than just grabbing something quick. Most of the smoothies were around $10, and their toast was around $10-$15. Most of their items were either around $15 or less, which felt reasonable for the quality and portion size. One detail that I noticed that you wouldn’t know unless you went is that the place can get a little busy during peak hours, and there was a short wait when I arrived.
